Into the West Blogger Network - Sunday 10/08/2014 #ITWBN

I had a great day at the recent  ITWBN gathering at the fabulous Meyrick Hotel, Galway.

It was very well organised by the lovely Sinead Carroll (www.yummymummy.eu.com) and Saibh Egan - (Saibh Egan Photographer - www.saibhegan.com)
It was my first one and I was a tad nervous but my nerves were quickly quenched by really lovely people and really tasty cocktails!

They tasted as good as they looked!

We sat and discussed topics relating to blogging as well as getting to know each other. We took photos, shared statuses and tips and looked at iNailz (the special guests on the day) at work (www.inailz.ie). They basically can put any design / photo you want on your own nail or on a set of nails.  The "Kim Kardashain Crying Face"  - the idea courtesy of Orla - (beyondthefashion.wordpress.com) and photo by AidanJudge - (ajudgeoutlook.wordpress.com)-  was one of the most popular photos on the day!

We also got lovely food from the Meyrick Hotel to keep us going over the day - it was very tasty!


The Meyrick hotel and its Gaslight Bar and Brasserie are an ideal lunch venue in the centre of the City.
It opens for a morning getaway scone and coffee from 10am and food is served from 11am each day until 10 at night. There are great food options available and a fast and friendly service.
It is also a great venue for group and party events such as 30th / 40ths and engagement parties and each month they do a Monthly Supper Club with a unique theme. The next one is "Taste of the Bay on Friday September 19th from 7pm -  The menu will be on a seafood and fish theme to tie in with the Galway International Oyster Festival - check it out!
