#ITWBN event in the Radisson Blu Galway 08/02/2015
I attended my 3rd Into The West Blogger Network Event event on Sunday 08/02/2015. It was held in Veranda Lounge of the lovely Radisson Blu Spa Hotel Galway.
When I write that I cannot believe I have been lucky enough to attend 3! Read about August 2014 here and November 2014 here.
It was founded and is organised by Sinead of Yummy Mummy Fashion and Lifestyle Blog and Saibh from Saibh Egan Photography. A big thank you goes out to them for organising such a professional and fun event which is growing from strength to strength!
You will have seen updates and photos of the day on my Facebook/ Twitter / Instagram - I was a busy bee sharing on Sunday and Monday - thank you for all the interaction!
I wore my skirt from Born Clothing that I purchased thanks to the voucher I won at the November event and went all out and got my make-up done by the lovely Fiona in Dior Brown Thomas.
As with the other events I have attended, everyone was so lovely and friendly and Ruth from The Beauty Kemple and I were busy with the selfies from the start! ;)
I was at the Kylemore Abbey Table with a bunch of lovely fellow Bloggers and we all were sharing experiences and instagram/twitter and facebook pages before we knew it! Unfortunately I didn't get a photo of the whole table but below is Karine from Kaentrenos, Ruth from Fashion Truth By Ruth and Nickki from Limes and Stars . It was great to meet you all!
There were great speakers in attendance on the day.
Maricka Burke-Keogh from Online Marketing In Galway gave an insight into SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and all things technology. I always find these talks so helpful for a techno novice like myself. There is always something to learn and I feel this is an area that is ever changing.
Siobhan McDonnell of Letzmakeupblog was up next with tips on Vlogging. This is something that is growing in popularity with many bloggers branching out to videos on their own You Tube Channel which you can subscribe to. Siobhan is a really popular Blogger and Vlogger and I found her talk really insightful.
I definitely took a lot of tips away although I still would be a little shy when it comes to taking the step into Vlogging but...watch this space!!
Richie from Beutifi.com was there to talk about their venture to set up appointments for salons online. This is a great concept and shows again the growth of all things technology. An example was used where you might want to book a wax but don't want everyone to hear - this way of making appointments is definitely beneficial in those instances!!
Last but by no means least was the lovely Kate Kelly from Cocoa Brown. She shared some great tips and she really knows her stuff in relation to Business / PR and is only 22! Cocoa Brown are very supportive of the Blogger community and we were all gifted with their Tough Stuff Scrub - I cannot wait to use it and get ready for the Spring / Summer Season!
There were stands there that we could visit throughout the day - David McConville Orthodontics, Make Me Sparkle (I have her glasses and want to more - they are a little bit of luxury at home and great gift ideas too!!), ATIR Shape Wear, Cotton Face Vintage, Debenhams, Beutifi.com, Tan Organic Basianti Jewellery, Young Blood Cosmetics (read my review on their products here!) and Peter Mark.
There were some lovely Cupcakes from Sweet Treats By Fiona and Macaroons from The Gourmet Tart Company - They were nearly too pretty to eat but too yummy not to!
The same can be said for the fabulous cake made by the equally fabulous Sandra from A Modern Mommys World...so creative and talented!
You will have seen the photo I shared of the very generous goodie bags and there were also really good prizes given out on the day.
As well as Cocoa Brown, other generous sponsors of the goodie bag and prizes were Castle Print Galway (who also did all the wonderful printing for the event) McSharrys Pharmacy, Debenhams, The Spirit One Spa, Make Me Sparkle, Nia Beauty Aurora Hair Products, Badger and Dodo, Fairgreen Road, Secret Fashion Fixes, Go Bus, David McConville Orthodontics, Tan Organic, Isadora Ireland, The Irish Get Up And Go Diary, The Body Shop Ireland and Wet N Wild Cosmetics Ireland
I am looking forward to trying out the products and sharing my experiences.
The Get up and Go Diary is in use already. My resolution for 2015 is to try and be more positive - sometimes that is not so easy and we all have woe is me days. I love this as it really promotes positivity - try it and see for yourselves!
There was lots of mingling from beginning to end and I met alot of new blogger buddies and caught up with old blogger buddies too!!
There was so much going on over the day and I hope I captured everything! Feel free to ask any quesions if you want to know more and keep an eye on my Facebook / Twitter / Instagram.
Thanks for reading and bye for now!! xxx

THE Galway Player was up next and he looked at Twitter from an internet dating point of view. This was very funny and informative. This guy knows what he's talking about when it comes to social media and takes the whole thing in his stride. I see him with his own talk show soon!!
