The Beauty Blog Awards 21/05/2015

Hi, hope you are all well...it's nearly the weekend!

Towards the end of last month I was lucky enough to attend the The Irish Beauty Blog Awards sponsored by Tanorganic. All the proceeds of the night went to Breast Cancer Ireland  which is such a worthy cause! It was held in Lillies Bordello, I hadn't been there before and I really liked it!!

I wore a dress that I received as a present (it's from New Look). Here I am at Bio Fresh Skincare and Make-Up Stand - they are 100% Natural and Organic Beauty Products:

At the Biofresh stand on the night

You can't see my shoes in this photo (however they are in the photo below). They are my trusted favourites from Penneys!! The bag is also New Look and the chain is from Ladies Statement Jewellery. I did my own make-up and hair. My tan was Tanorganic and I got my nails done in Mudpie Beauty Boutique in Dundrum.

It was really well organised and it was such a fun night. There was prosecco and a chocolate fountain - see me enjoying both below!

Cheers!

Chocolate Fountain...Yum!

It was also great to catch-up with some of the Into The West Blogger Network crew!

ITWBN founders Saibh and Sinead

Here I am with the lovely Sandra from A Modern Mommys World
When I went down the road of blogging I didn't know where it would lead me but I am learning things all the time and making new friends along the way and I'm really loving it!!

We got to mingle and visit the various stands in advance of the presentation of the awards.

I have already mentioned Bio Fresh - the girls on the stand were lovely and chatted about the brand and the products which as I said above are 100% Natural and Organic.

I met the lovely Bernadette from Elizabeth Arden who did a test on my skin. Overall it is in good shape - I just need to exfoliate a bit more (that is where I can fall down in my routine!).

I was glad to hear an overall good report on my skin - as I turn another year older this month! I will be dropping into the Elizabeth Arden counter in the next month to avail of my complimentary "Red Door Treatment" so I will let you know how it goes - thanks Bernadette!

Checking out the skin!

I was also speaking to Karina on the Kinvara Skincare Stand stand about their products. They are full of natural ingredients and it's an Irish brand from the West too so even better again!

Kinvara Skincare
We met the lovely ladies from Siopaella. I LOVE this shop! Check it out if you haven't already – you won’t be disappointed!!

With the lovely Ella of Siopaella!
I also met Pippa! She was a deserving winner in a number of categories on the night. I love her blog and she kindly let me take a photo with her:

With Pippa!
The awards were then announced- A Big Congrats to all the Nominees and to the eventual Winners on the night  - see a full list of both here.

A big thank you to the organisers and the sponsors of the night and a special thank you for the wonderful goodie bag - I'm looking forward to using all the fabulous products inside!

Goodie Bag!

I rounded off the night with a nightcap (or 2!) with some of the ITWBN crew and then it was time for home (and a bit of a hangover the following day), but it was so well worth it!!

Bye for now! xxx
